We’re excited to announce the return of the Rocky Mountain Cyber Security Symposium in 2025, hosted again by Casper College in Casper Wyoming! Following last year’s successful event, it has evolved into a standalone event for a broader audience, running with an RMUG track, which remains focused on higher education. The event focuses on the following:
The 2025 Rocky Mountain CyberSecurity Symposium (RMCS) offers a powerful convergence of innovation, education, and collaboration in the fight against cyber threats. Spanning five days, this hybrid event includes a cutting-edge pre-conference workshop followed by a dynamic mix of keynote sessions, breakout talks, and hands-on workshops across two distinct tracks: Technical and Awareness. We have a solid lineup for our CyberSecurity conference but if you have a story to tell, Submit your presentation here:
On June 19, 2025, the Ellucian Rocky Mountain User Group (RMUG) Conference Track will convene at Casper College in Casper, Wyoming. This dedicated track offers Ellucian users and higher education professionals a platform to delve into the latest advancements in Ellucian products and services. Attendees can anticipate a series of sessions covering topics tailored to functional areas like Financial Aid, Institutional Research, Information Technology, Administrative and Financial Management, and Human Resources. These sessions aim to foster collaboration, share best practices, and enhance the effective use of Ellucian solutions within the higher education community. We still need speakers and sessions for the RMUG Conference track. Submit your presentation here.
Pre-Conference Workshop (June 16–17): Next-Level OSINT
Led by renowned security expert Mishaal Khan, this intensive two-day session dives deep into advanced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques. Attendees learned how to leverage hacker-inspired strategies for investigations—from tracking criminals and researching competitors to mapping social networks and creating actionable intelligence reports.
We have built in conference games and plenty of networking time, such as an extended lunch with time for attendees to engage with you. Why an extended lunch? Well, it seems people actually still like to talk to each other. Thus, we have built a purposeful time for people to connect with each other. During the long lunch we will also shuttle attendees who are interested up to the Casper College Tate Museum so they can “Meet the Mammoth”.
Location: Liesinger Hall, Casper College
1 CEU Credit is available for attending the Conference for an additional $25.
Register and Pay for the CEU when you sign in the day of the conference.
