We look at setting up Environments, Collections, Variables, and how to script variables to save your session token for your Ethos integration. We will cover troubleshooting common Ethos issues associated with return codes. This session demystifies the process of building a custom, configurable, page-backed GraphQL Experience Extension from the ground up. We’ll move quickly through essential topics, including licensing and infrastructure prerequisites, setting up your development environment, and scaffolding a fresh extension. You’ll learn how to write and integrate GraphQL queries, manage data loading with React props and hooks (useData, useCache), and apply best practices for rendering, caching, and conditional display. We’ll also walk through creating configuration screens, validating input, and storing admin settings. Finally, you’ll see how to replicate card content on a dedicated page and route users seamlessly from card to page with custom buttons. Bonus content will introduce EAEE schema extension techniques and using Insomnia for GraphQL testing.
